Sometimes you can spend years developing a relationship with a client. That’s because it’s not always about the speed of the deal. In the situation, I had been in touch with the homeowner for a number of years when she called me to tell me that she had decided to retire and was looking to sell. When we met we discussed staging, a marketing plan and my thoughts on pricing. It was a challenging property – a two-story condo in a smaller boutique building.


Working with the pricing strategy and marketing plan that we had worked out together, the unit sold within 10 days for full price.


My client was pleased with both the results we achieved in the comfort she felt with me throughout the process. So much so that she engaged us to sell a triplex (which also sold within 10 days for full price) which she had unsuccessfully tried to sell with someone else the previous year.
